Training Programs
1. Puppy Package Day Boot Camp (for ages 3-6 months)
Our specialized program teaches puppies basic concepts and obedience behaviors as a game. This play training and feeding approach establishes behavior patterning, a solid work ethic and clear communication, helping you build the best and most honest relationship with your pup from the beginning of your paw-renthood journey.
The deets:

2-week sessions, Monday to Friday

Drop-off/pick-up at K9 Playland Resort in Charlotte
The program includes:

Intro to basic obedience
-
Positive association to crate training - crate games & reward-based methods
-
Commands like sit and down
-
Intro to leash and leash pressure
-
Intro to reliable recall
-
Intro to the place command
-
Supervised play sessions with other puppies and puppy-savvy adult dogs
-
Structured routine to encourage house-breaking
2. Day Camp and Train (for ages 6 months+)
Kick off your dog’s tween years with a comprehensive training program that teaches everything from basic obedience and house manners to interactions with other pooches. Let’s go bark to the basics and unleash your dog’s best behavior so you can live life to the fullest as a pair!
The deets:

2-week and 3-week sessions available, Monday to Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)

Drop-off/pick-up at K9 Playland Resort in Charlotte
Your pup will learn:

Basic obedience and house manners (sit, down, kennel, place, foundations for reliable come, off and basic leash walking)

Daily routine and structure
-
Engagement and calm focus around distractions

Off-leash recall (coming when called)

Loose leash-walking and heel position
-
Commands like sit, down, stay
-
Proper greetings
-
Place (going to bed and staying until released)
-
Entering doors, gates and crates on command and exiting calmly
-
Appropriate interactions with other dogs
3. Board and Train (for ages 6 months+)
During our board-and-train stays, your pup will participate in multiple training sessions each day and enjoy on-leash and (when appropriate) off-leash walks in the surrounding areas as training progresses. This package also includes a Mini Educator remote training collar, place cot, Go Home training session and two follow-up sessions.

Adventure Days
Once your pup completes a minimum two-week course with us and meets the minimum requirements for off-leash safety, they can sign up for our Adventure Days. We organize pack hikes and outings to dog-friendly locations to engage their senses and change up the scenery. Not only will they benefit from physical exercise and mental stimulation, but they’ll also have fun burning off energy with their pup pals!
Individual Day Camp Days
Need your pup out of the house on cleaning day? Long work day full of meetings ahead of you? Once your pup completes a minimum two-week course with us, they can join in on weekly day camp sessions with our pack, continuing their structure, correct socialization and supervised play in a fun, engaging group setting. Your dog won’t just learn — they’ll have a blast, too!
